Hiring me to do a project implies starting a venture one that is set to be transparent, team-oriented and geared towards the same direction as your purpose. Here’s what to expect:
Project Process
Step 1: Discovery & Intake
Questionnaire & Initial Chat
After our connection, you will fill in a brief intake form (or questionnaire) in order that I may get to know your business, audience, and the existing challenges and objectives. I will scan what you send me and book a discovery call with you.
Project Scope & Objectives
During that call we will explain what you want to accomplish, the scope of your project and measures of success. We also shall discuss deliverables, schedule and budget.
Step 2: Planning & Agreement
Proposal & Contract
According to our revelation, I will forward you a comprehensive proposal: services, deliverables, schedule, cost and conditions. After going through the contract, it is concluded.
Kickoff Call
Once the contract has been signed, we will have a kick-off meeting. This assists in putting both of us on track with the process, communication flow, tools, milestones and what you are going to need to provide.
Step 3: Setup & Preparation
Client Assets & Resources
You will provide resources such as brand principles, logos, content (where applicable), current site access, etc. anything it takes to get going.
Tools & Access
I will install project tools / platforms (file storage, project management, staging environment) and help you access details.
Step 4: Design / Prototype / Feedback Cycles
Original Ideas / Wireframes
I will generate design mockups or wireframes to have you look at.
Feedback Loop
You will read and comment. I'll sharpen till you are satisfied, of course.
Iteration
Depending on your feedback, we will revise it, complete the designs and finally enter the development or final implementation.
Step 5: Development / Implementation
Building
Coding, theme setups, visual design implementation, responsive behavior etc.
Testing & QA
Cross-device, browser, and performance and accessibility tests. Make sure that it is working.
Step 6: Review & Launch
Final Review
Tour of the site with you. Any bugs and fixes are handled.
Launch or Handoff
Once approved, we launch. Provided there is training (content updates, backend etc.), I'll walk you through.
Step 7: Post-Launch Support & Maintenance
Monitoring & Adjustments
After live deployment, I will check to see if there are any problems, keep everything running on track.
